Barnard Castle Youth teams enjoyed a successful round of fixtures marked by commanding victories, a resilient cup progression and displays of teamwork.
The U12s avenged their only season defeat, hosting Bedale for a 3-0 win.
A strong first half put them ahead and an excellent defensive display, commanded by Harrison and Tyler, secured the clean sheet.

The U13s secured passage to the next round of the County Cup in dramatic fashion, drawing 1-1 against Washington Navy Juniors before triumphing 5-4 on penalties.
The team showed great fighting spirit to equalise late in the game after Washington had taken the lead.
The U14s travelled with only ten players due to illness and injury and lost 4-2 to Billingham Synthonia.
Despite their disadvantage, the team showed tremendous character, with Paddy scoring both goals. Ethan was player of the match for his outstanding defence.
The U9s hosted Redcar Rangers Lions and finally got the win their previous performances deserved with slick passing and combinations.
The U10s delivered a fantastic all-round performance at home to Newton Aycliffe. A fast start and positive, pressing football led to a comfortable victory, with Ayla and Tommy receiving player of the match awards.
The U8s played in the league cup against Pools Youth.
The U11 Hurricanes had an excellent away performance against Darlington RA, moving the ball well and controlling the game from the start.
Toby T completed a hat-trick with additional goals from Caleb K and Rory J. Joey B was player of the match.
