An investigation is continuing into arson attacks in Cockfield.
A police spokesman said: “An investigation is underway following suspected arsons at two houses in Cockfield.
“Emergency services were called to the properties in West End Terrace at around 4pm on Saturday, November 29.
“The suspects are thought to have smashed the living room windows before throwing what is believed to be accelerant into the rooms then igniting it.
“Thankfully nobody was injured.
“However, extensive damage was caused to one of the properties, and the occupants of both houses were understandably shaken.
“One suspect is described as white, around 21 or 22 years old, and approximately 5ft 6in.
“He was wearing a black bomber-style jacket and goggles.
“The other was on a motorbike and was wearing a white motorbike helmet. Both fled the scene on the bike.
“An investigation is ongoing into the incident, and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.”
